Legacy operational friction and manual dependencies compromised national regulatory speed.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation was anchored by fragmented legacy frameworks and disjointed digital entry points. Heavy reliance on manual approvals, complex permit processing, and rigid infrastructure created systemic inertia, increasing administrative drag, creating compliance bottlenecks, and compromising the operational experience for commercial and private operators across the Kingdom.



Goal
Architect a unified, high-performance command center for national aviation governance.
Commissioned under ADAA's national oversight mandate, the objective was to refine, simplify, and digitize the intricate processes of Saudi civil aviation into a singular operational ecosystem. The goal: replace fragmented workflows with adaptive, real-time tools that eliminate human error and make strict regulatory compliance an effortless default.

I engineered a unified design framework to serve as GACA’s definitive source of truth, shifting the focus from static screen designs to a living system architecture across four core pillars: - Core Foundation: Established a unified visual vernacular that reflects the authority and prestige of the Kingdom's civil aviation identity. - Intelligent Component Architecture: Built a comprehensive library of reusable tokens, adaptive typography, and smart UI patterns optimized for speed and precision. - Frictionless Workflow Integration: Embedded system assets directly into development lifecycles to eliminate redundant effort and eradicate technical debt. - Institutional Governance: Authored clear guidelines and living documentation to ensure every future GACA product scales without compromising quality or performance.
